Saranda, The House of Excellence and Innovation, is one of the 12 student houses in the IIT Madras BS degree program. We cultivate a vibrant community by organizing regular meetups, hands-on workshops, tech showcases, eSports tournaments, and cultural festivals. Saranda brings together passionate learners to connect, innovate, and grow beyond boundaries.
Saranda’s eSports Community is the esports community where all BS students of IIT Madras are open to it. We encourage the skills to compete, work together and share a common interest in the finest games such as Valorant, BGMI and others. You can be a casual or an avid gamer, Our Community is a colorful setting in which you can display your talent, meet super-awesome friends and be an ambassador of your neighborhood in thrilling tournaments and competitions. We are hoping to create a vibrant arena, where there will be talent development, meet up of gamers, abundant scrims, workshops and inter-college tournaments.
Saranda House Culturals at IITM BS, dedicated to foster creativity, talent, and cultural expression. As a hub for artistic pursuits, it organizes diverse events and competitions, ranging from music and dance to drama and art, promoting inclusivity and collaboration. Saranda Culturals plays a pivotal role in uniting members through cultural celebrations, showcasing the house's spirit of excellence and innovation.
